Dr Simone Ramsay is a General Surgeon based in South Brisbane. She has particular interests in conditions of the colon, pelvis and rectum.

This includes the treatment of Bowel Cancer, and functional disorders including hernias, haemorrhoids, and rectal prolapse.

After working for 5 years as a Staff Specialist General Surgeon at the Prince Charles Hospital, Dr Ramsay completed a fellowship in Colorectal and Acute Surgery at the Royal Hobart Hospital, and a 6 month observership at the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh, one of the largest Colorectal and Pelvic Floor units in the United Kingdom.

Dr Ramsay consults from the Indillie Clinic, located in the Mater Health Centre Redlands. She operates and performs Colonoscopies at the Mater Redlands Private Hospital, The Greenslopes Private Hospital, and the Mater Private Hospital South Brisbane.
